Does marijuana negatively affect sperm?

Hey ladies!
My hubby and I are TTC for 4 months for baby #1. He's an avid marijuana smoker and he's actually quit for a month and half now. Mostly because I asked him to quit so he can have the best healthy sperm.  What are your thoughts on marijuana and its effect on sperm motility and fertility?

It has been proven numerous times throughout the medical community that not only does it lower sperm count but can negatively affect the users children developmentally. So yes it does affect sperm count and the "healthiness" of said sperm.

My SO & I were daily smokers & I'm currently pregnant (although I quit due to pregnancy). I know others who smoke & are able to conceive with no problems.

According to resheach yes and it also supposedly effects a womans fertillity too. Me and my partner used to smoke it alot and i ended up pregnant after 3 months of unprotected sex. Simce having my baby boy 3 years ago i stopped smoking cigarettes, weed and drinking alchol. My partner aswell and we have been tring for baby number 2 for 3 years now with no luck. My sisters partner smokes weed a lot and she used to have it occasionaly she has 2 children and had a missacarrage inbetween. She gets pregnant litterally the fist time they dont use protection. I dont know sometimes i do think to myself i wonder if weed actually helps since it helps so many other things x

My boyfriend been smoking since he was 16 now he's 29 I'm not a smoker, we werent trying we got pregnant with no problems...

My boyfriend is an everyday pot smoker and before I was pregnant I smoked everyday with him, and we got pregnant pretty quickly after we stopped being safe

I've seen plenty of people that smoke pot have kids, and most of them are actually smarter than most. (They also smoked before during and after pregnancy). But, my boyfriend has smoked for four years and it could be why we aren't pregnant yet. It's never going to be completely proven.
