Dryer balls

Not sure if this is the right page but i couldn’t find an eco/sustainable page. So I bought dryer balls and used them for the first time yesterday and today. I’ve followed the instructions that came with it but they seem like they are actually increasing my dry time which is causing increase static. I usually use the “more dry” setting on my dryer so when I started using these I put it down on the “eco dry” setting which left my clothes still wet, then when I put it back on more dry it caused a lot of static 😫 what am I doing wrong

Maybe you got the wrong kind? Did you get wool balls or the plastic ones?

That’s strange.... I’m not sure what brand mine are but they cut dry time way down. It honestly doesn’t eliminate static 100% but it cuts it enough

I got wool, I didn’t add any liquids like oils to them or anything. The instructions that came with them just said toss them in...ugh so frustrating
