Drive thrus with boyfriend

Even before Covid my boyfriend and I wouldn’t ever take me out on a date and go out to eat. We normally go through drive thrus which I never really minded but now I’m kind of like ooo idk I would like to be taken out at least once.

I mean I don’t think we would go out to a restaurant as of right now due to Covid but once the pandemic is over I would like him to take me out. Not even anywhere fancy but just like a place where you get waited on. Idk if that’s stupid or not. He has said that after the pandemic we can go out which is nice. Should my standards be higher?? Idk
