Breast abscess

Hey Mamas,

I just got out of the hospital after having surgery on my breast for severe mastitis

Have any of you experienced a breast abscess requiring surgery to drain? How was recovery? Did you wear a compression bra and when did you take it off?

I have packing that I'm supposed to remove tomorrow and I'm nervous. Not sure if I need to remove the bra tonight. It wasn't mentioned upon discharge or in my paperwork. It's too late to call so I'm just curious.
