IUD????

Question

For the ladies who have it , what happened after you got the iud? My friend bled for days after!! Just worried cause I'm thinking about getting it!

Yup, I had cramping for a few days after. I probably had bleeding too but I also had it inserted while I was on my period, so I didn't notice. I don't at all regret it though :)

I had the worst cramps ever for the first week or so after getting it and then my periods slowly went away and lived period free for two years until I took it out. A friend of mine cramped for a day and then had very regular and very very light periods for the three years she had it. It's different for everyone

I bleed alot at first and the I spotted alot in between periods. And periods and sex were more painful, but I also have a retroverted uterus. I had my IUD in for 6 years.
