Temperature rise followed by a positive OPK

I had a temperature rise 2 days before positive OPK and then another rise again the day before I got my positive OPK. Is this normal? I always assumed it would happen at the same time or after. 😕 I hardly ever get positive OPK results so I’m holding onto hope. We’ve been TTC for over 2 years now.
