Is this a breakout ?

So my 5 month old baby is recovering from a bad diaper rash I been using desitin max strength and it looks like it’s healing but now there are bumps everywhere  is this a breakout ?

Could also be moister/heat rash . Try changing more often then you normally do and if it’s from moister try pat drying with a towel or wash cloth before putting diaper back on.

Try making an oatmeal paste 
You just add a bit of water to oatmeal and stir up then apply to bum 
Also have you tried allowing babe to go without a diaper to air dry?
Maybe put some receiving blankets around bottom to catch any accidents

This happen to my baby as well I noticed when I used white paste diaper cream made it more red and Sensitive what I tried was wiping my baby button with washcloth ￼and letting dry then put some coconut oil and bear bottom for 20 min then put diaper on

If you are using disposable diapers, some ingredients might irritate the skin. Make sure he is not alergic to them and try using pure cotton diapers. Also, creams containing panthenol might help.
