Sleeping questions
To quickly give a little background. Luke is 15 months old as of the 11th. He’s been breastfed on demand since the beginning. Still is on demand. Before, he was able to be given a bottle (sippy of whole milk) and be go to sleep. He sleeps in his crib and still wakes up through the night. It use to be once or twice for boobie. He’d wake up and want it, so I gave it to him. Waking up didn’t bother me at all. But the last few weeks he’s been refusing the whole milk (we even tried it in a bottle) and he screams and screams. I either give in and give him boobie or he’s tired enough he’ll fall asleep. He’s also been waking up MANY times a night. Always wants boobie. Will scream and try to get away from dad when he tries to go in there. Like bloody murder screams! Its so loud.
Well his dad and I talked, and agreed we needed to start weaning boobie. I don’t want to be done completely (and if you think I do, just keep it to yourself please). I’m wondering if you mamas have any tips for me? He relies on the boobie. I know its for comfort and not hungry.
If I were to go somewhere and spend the night, it would be HELL!!
So last night I just went into his room and calmed him down, no boobie. He woke up a lot but he went all night with boobie. I just want him to sleep through the night and him not be so reliant on me. Help😂
