So I measured a week ahead at the my last appointment and so they ordered me an ultrasound to check his weight. And He is measuring is the 85th percentile in weight. He is 5lbs 2oz and the doctor is worried about his head and shoulders getting stuck because he isn’t that tall I guess. And is already talking about induction at 39 weeks or a scheduled c-section. I’m worried that those two options are my only options. I don’t have GD, he is head down and I’ve had a pretty mellow pregnancy compared to some. My husband was a big 10lb baby and I was 8lb baby. Is vaginal birth still an option at this point or would it be safer for the baby to be induced before he is ready on his own. I’m so conflicted and really down in the dumps about this.
