Gynecologist?

My parents are super strict and don't talk much about sex other than don't have it before marriage. Didn't quite work that way, I want to make a gynecologist appointment but don't know where to start. I'm 20 living alone and confused

You're 20 therefore it's about time to start having regular check ups. I don't understand what you're asking honestly. 20 is pretty grown for not knowing how to make an appointment.

I dunno where you're from but in the UK 20 is more than old enough to be doing things without your parents permission, you're an adult woman and I'm sure they understand that

If you wanted to have your parent help you make the appointment, say your just curious for cervical cancer. It's a big part of physicals!

It's not terribly complicated.

You don't have to see a gyno - most people just see a regular doctor, a "general practitioner" or a "family doctor."

Depending on where you live, there may be an online service that matches you up with a doctor who's taking new patients. If not, then look up clinics in your area. Make some calls, and when you find a doctor who IS taking new patients then you'll probably have to set up a "meet and greet", then set up an appointment for a physical. When you book the appointment then let them know you'll need a full physical. Then book your appointment, and go.

I would first figure out what your insurance is, & then look around town to see what different doctor places will accept your insurance & if they accept it, then make a appointment & go from there! Hope this helps! -K
