I had a dream about my toxic/abusive ex getting out of jail and finding me wanting to go again with the relationship. When I woke up that made me think about how during the time him being arrested and in a hospital his guardian was talking about all the stuff that happened but it became clear to me that he left out so so so many details and was making me look like the bad person. We went everywhere together and she told me she thought I was the one who wanted it like that. Nope, I couldn’t even go out by myself without him causing a problem so he tagged along.

“He told me about the time you drop him off at the park and had no where to go” the reason I did that was because he was homeless before meeting me and he was using a gun to threaten him, me, and my family. Of course he left that part out and that was years before hand. We had cats together and I would check on them during the day but I couldn’t sleep at that house so behind my back they brought them to the new house I was staying at. His guardians response was, I don’t take good enough care of them. Not once has he taken them to the vet or even know their food. So when I was officially moving out and done with him I took the cats. Since then he’s been arrested for identity theft and I’ve wondered if his guardian finally realizes he was the abusive one and the problem
