Any veterinarians on here ?

My dog just puked this up and my husband is at work so I can't take him to the vet. We are new to the area as well. What could this be ?

Hey it looks like bile could be from hair, worms and a number of things. Of course you can clean up and take pooch to the vets. Making sure dogs and cats are wormed is important when pregnant and washing your hands after cleaning up. Xx

It just looks like spit up. My dog does it all the time. He probably drank fast. I really wouldn't worry too much.

Generally if my dogs pukes which is fairly frequently, I withhold food from him for 5-6 hours. It's not a punishment it gives his stomach enough time to finish digesting whatever left in there and settle down.

My dog does this but its usually because she makes herself do it.. usually when shes wanting me to feed her.. that sounds so bad. I feed her twice a day at the same time everyday and she gets pissed and does this.. lol shes fat so i know she eats good just does it because shes mad but it looks just like my dogs.. i wouldnt be worried about it it has no color or blood or anything to it if ur dog continues to throw up than i would be worried just keep plenty of water down so they dont get dehydrated

Animals puke sometimes - just like kids do! Haha!
I honestly wouldn't give it a second thought unless it starts to happen often.
Though having said that I was worried that our 6 month old new puppy was sick because he would vomit twice a day at least. It turns out we weren't feeding him often enough so when he got hungry he vomited! Poor puppy!! So we divided his meals up into smaller portions and started feeding him more often and he hasn't vomited since (apart from when going in the car but we won't talk about that! Haha!).

Did he eat grass or any plants?  That is somethin they do to make themselves puke. Could also just be stress?
