Mastitis??

Idk if this is a clogged duct or mastitis but it hurts and is swollen and hot to the touch. I messaged my dr already but wanted to know if anyone on here has had something that looked like this. I’m an exclusive pumper.

I had this last week. I woke suddenly in the night with the chills and feeling like I was coming down with the flu. Also I had a red patch on the breast and was unbearable to touch. Rang the drs and told them my symptoms and they said definitely mastitis. A week of antibiotics and now it's back to normal 😃

Have you tried dangle pumping? I always massage it in the shower and then follow with that. Works every time! Good luck mama.

Ouch Do you feel like you have the flu? If so it’s probably mastitis I’m going through it right now and my boob and nipple are swollen like that but not as red

I’d hop in a hot shower, massage and then nurse and then pump til empty while massaging. That always worked for my clogged ducts after a couple rounds. If you get a fever then I would think it’s 100% mastitis.
