Cycle tracking after D&E, D&C

I’m unsure when to start tracking my cycle in this app and what Day 1 would be. We were told we had a missed miscarriage at 16+1 weeks, and I had the D&E procedure 8/20. I had increasing pain and the bleeding never stopped, I start feeling bad over my body like I had a cold.

When I went back in last week I had an infection and took three days of antibiotics. After an ultrasound they found a mass which was a piece of retained placenta from the first D&E. 9/15 I had that tissue removed and I’m now on two antibiotics for a week.

Do I wait until all the bleeding has stopped to start tracking my cycle again? Does this time now count as a period? Thanks!
