Shave after wax

Hi ladies! Not sure if this is the right category for this question, but I recently got a bikini wax for the first time and something came up if you know what I mean 👀👀 so is it okay if I shave the rest? Will it irritate the skin more. I waxed two days ago and I need to be shaved by Saturday night. I have little tiny red bumps still where I got my wax but it’s normal and will go away soon. Could I also lightly go across the waxed area to insure it is not prickly?
