Anyone try these before, or going to try them?

I used the medela version with my first. My purpose of using these was to help heal my nipples. They were in bad shape and I needed to use all purpose nipple ointment. But my bra just rubbed the ointment off and irritated my nipples. So I wore these shields which kept the ointment in place and stopped the irritation from my bra. It really helped for that purpose. They had small holes to allow air in at the top of the cup. I don’t think that the medela version was to be used with the intent of catching milk to feed the baby later. It was only to catch milk like a nursing pad would and provide relief to sore nipples. The cups did place a little suction on my nipples so I did leak a little (where normally I wasn’t leaking at all). However since they had tiny air holes the milk would come out if I bent over. I assume this doesn’t have air holes so that shouldn’t be a problem. So it just depends on your purpose. I plan to buy another version just to help with sore nipples this time around.

Never seen them before. I am going to be using the Elvie (wireless wearable pumps) but I might look into these to see what the hubbub is about
