Acupuncture at 39 weeks. Did it help get things going?

Just wondering if anyone has done acupuncture at 39 weeks pregnant? Did it help get things going? What’s your experience. 
I’m 2cm dilated, 50% effaced, soft but cervix is high.

Following. I just got it done today at 39 +2 along with a sweep. I was 1 1/2cm and 80%. So far nothing. Nothing at all. I’m supposed to go back on Friday for another round.
