Hospital bags???

Question

When did everyone start packing their hospital bags? I have everything ready for the baby apart from needing to buy mattresses and cot/crib bedding. All of her clothes are washed and dried and sorted all up to 3 months and I think we’ve stocked up on wipes and nappies to last us a little while (incase of another lock down). But I’m now twiddling my thumbs wondering if it’s too soon to start packing hospital bags...I’m 26 weeks but I have a really weird feeling she’ll be early (don’t know why 😂) I’m a first time mum so this is all pretty new to me and I’m obviously quite eager for her to be here. I do struggle with fatigue so I don’t want to be trying to get my sh*t together last minute...but I don’t want to run out of things to do either 😂xxx

I’m almost 27 weeks, I’m starting mine now anyway! Going to buy a new bag as I threw out my previous one, once I get it I’m gonna start! It’s never too early, always better prepared! Good luck mama!

I’m just passed 26 weeks and this is my second so I’m way more relaxed about it this time around. My plan is to have everything set before thanksgiving except for the last minute stuff.

I packed pretty early this time, usually I’m not packed yet. I have mine and babies, I just need snacks and last minute things like iPad and my phone should be on me as always 🤷‍♀️. I’m 27 weeks.

Baby’s bag is done has been for weeks now. I’m already started gathering stuff for my bag and it’s in a specific spot in my drawer but I’m gonna start packing my bag over the weekend when I have off. I’ll be 30 weeks next Tuesday so I wanna get it done.

I’d do it now lol. I kept saying my daughter would be early and she was 🤦🏾‍♀️ and I had to fly home from the doctors office to pack a bag then go to the hospital. Don’t be like me lol.

With my son I packed mine around 34 weeks and that was my plan this time but I went into preterm labor last week at 28 weeks so now I’m 29 weeks and we have packed a legit bag bc I’m on bedrest. So my advice is the sooner the better lol

You can start making a list and then slowly packing up stuff you know you’re only going to need for the delivery, like maybe pick out the babies outfits, your special robe, stuff like that. Most other stuff you’re going to want to keep out until it gets closer like your slippers or your headphones and stuff. I’d put that all in at 37 weeks. Then don’t forget to check the list last minute for things like phone charger and snacks.
