Don't have a middle name and it's never bothered me. Didn't give my daughter one either as I don't really see the point you only use it on forms and things and I know quite a few people who hate their middle name 🤷‍♀️

I do not have a middle name (neither do my 2 sisters). I personally love not having a middle name. It’s simpler and different. Yes, people are often surprised that I really don’t have a middle name, but I like the uniqueness of that. 
Since I enjoyed not having a middle name so much, I will not be giving my children middle names either, to keep with tradition :)

I think some people who don’t have middle names are harassed by people. A guy I work with doesn’t have one and people always badger him like he’s lying. My moms middle name is J. Just J. And she has spent her whole lifetime explaining that.

My dad doesn’t have one and said it is a pain but I don’t remember why he thinks so.

I do, my dad doesn’t though. Idk that he really cares but I know it causes confusion. He was witness to a wreck one time & the cop was taking his information when my dad tried explaining he didn’t have a middle name the cop thought he was being defiant & started getting pissed off 🤷🏻‍♀️. Even after showing ID the cop was hesitant to believe him lol.
