Sneak Peak Purchase or Wait?

Hey ladies so my pregnancy has been going by super fast the past weeks ill be 9 weeks exactly on Monday and my first appointment is the 23rd 😍 I've been seeing a lot of woman posting about sneak peak and me and my sister are so desperately wanting to find out the gender 🥺 is the sneak peak worth it? if so how much is it? or should I just ask my obgyn/midwife about a blood test to get the gender or should i wait till 14 weeks? Please help 😁🥰

I only bought sneak peak with my last pregnancy because at my 20w, my daughter sat with her legs crossed the entire appointment and they weren't able to do another one before my gender reveal party later that week. I think unless you have no other option, it's such a waste to be so impatient that you spend money on a test you can get done for free in most cases

I’m waiting for the elective ultrasound, I couldn’t stick myself for the blood draw at home and then the only appts for clinical didn’t work with my schedule. Soo I have an ultrasound appointment on October 10th. Currently 12 weeks

I did the sneak peek IN CLINIC. Paid $129. They say it’s best to do it in clinic because the ones done in home could be contaminated and give a false male/female result.

Personally, I'd never pay for something early that I will find out later for free. We will find out at 14 weeks when our chromosomal tests come back which are covered by insurance.

My insurance doesn’t cover finding out the gender through bloodwork and I was told it could be a couple hundred $$ so I am doing the sneak peak it should arrive today!

I thought about it but decided to wait until the anatomy ultrasound. You could do the nipt testing but it might not fully be covered by your insurance. Insurance covered all but $200 of our nipt testing for my second baby

Just do the harmony test at your appointment and it can tell you gender. No need to send your DNA off to be collected in a database

How much is everyone paying for these tests??? I looked it up and the cheapest one on their website is $79 dollars!! That’s crazy!!!
