When's a good time to stop working?

I'm due March 30th with Di/Di twins. When's a good time to stop working? Everyone is different and has different circumstances but when did everyone stop? I was thinking of working up until March.

I'm working as long as I possibly can. FMLA starts counting down once you take off 😕

I'm an RN and my job was physically demanding because of the type of unit I work on so I'm not doing direct patient care any more. This has reduced my hours already😢 but I could barely move at the end of my shifts anymore. I'm not working a benefited position anyway so I have no fmla worries. My boss has told me to take as long as I need, my position is secure. On the other hand non benefited means no maternity pay so I will work as long as I can.

I had to stop at 29 because I got put on bed rest

I expect my doctor to write me out on restriction a bit before my induction. My job will give extra sick time (outside FMLA) with a doctors note.

One thing to consider - is March 30th your "full term" due date? With twins, they're probably going to arrive 2-6 weeks earlier than that traditional 40 week time period.

I'm "due" 3/13 with modi boys....obviously I will be delivering a month or so before that. Im going to cut back a little at 28 weeks then stop working at 32....that is if I can make it until then!  Originally I wanted to work right up until delivery, but I don't think that's going to be possible with how I've been feeling lately and I'm only 23+5 today.

I stopped at 28 weeks. I listened to my body. Week 29 is turning out to be one of the roughest weeks yet!!

I started cutting back hours at 32 weeks. It has been good for me to transition my mind and lifestyle. I have 2 other LOs and am leaving a full time, demanding position. No regrets.

I stopped working at about 32 weeks. It was getting hard to move around and stay productive at work. Now at almost 36 weeks my whole body is hurting. Back spasms, hips, knees, swelling, ect... But the babies are growing big and strong. :) best of luck. You will know when it's time.

I'm pregnant with di/di twins as well and just asked my dr this yesterday. She said my body will say when but she expects I'll stop between 30-36 weeks. I mainly sit at my job so that's not the issue, but I live in a city and commute via bus/subway which can be physically difficult with lots of steps and not always a seat.
