What will baby sleep in?

We have a Halo sleep sack but it's a little too big for the first couple of months. What will your babies sleep in? Swaddle blankets? Just a onesie? So confused 😐

Halo swaddle/sleep sack for sure! I think we have a couple of the NB size and then a 0-3

1st baby ran warm and still does at 4 yrs old. We put him in zipper pjs. If our daughter is the same we will do zipper pjs as well and try to swaddle her. My son didn't like to be confined in a swaddle blanket.

I have three different newborn swaddles to try - miracle blanket, Ollie swaddle, and one other I can’t remember the name of that’s a zip sack (not the halo). So one of those either over a onesie or footie pajamas depending on room temp.

We’ve always done the Halo sleep swaddle. They have a NB size and the Velcro straps keep it snug, which helps with the Moro reflex.

Depends on the baby! My first was born in February but always ran warm. She had a full head of hair so maybe that played into it. She would get sweaty with anything too thick or fleece! We did a cotton onesie or a thin cotton sleeper and a cotton or muslin swaddle. Honestly my daughter wasn’t big on swaddling so that only lasted a few weeks. Some babies like to be swaddled much longer! Just have a variety of choices on hand and see what works.

My first slept in a sleeper (zip or button). She only tolerated a swaddle for maybe 3 days and then didn’t want it.

Zipper jammies with a swaddle. Either the normal swaddle blankets or the Velcro ones with zipper bottoms. That’s what my last October baby slept in.
