When a baby turns head-down, does it change the shape of your belly to make you look like you’ve “dropped”? I’ll be 29 weeks on Monday, and my belly is definitely lower. 😬

I didn’t see any difference myself tbh 😂 at my 29 app my doctor told me that my baby is head down now but my belly still looks the same 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, baby dropping into your pelvis is what makes you look “dropped”. You’ll know when baby is engaged into your pelvis because you will experience “lightning” crotch as well as lose your mucus plug.

No. My daughter turned head down somewhere between 26 and 28 weeks and if anything my belly has started looking higher instead of lower.

Mine didn’t look different to me but friends told me it looks lower. I could tell she was head down cuz I felt her more in my ribs
