Ultrasound Blurry?

First ultrasound at 8w5d! I know it’s pretty early but I’ve seen such clear and pretty ultrasounds on here so I’m kinda sad our tech only gave us this picture of our little bean... I was going to announce to the family with the ultrasound but I feel like you can’t really tell🙃 And my next US isn’t till 20 weeks!

My new ob has a "bedside" tiny little ultrasound machine. We saw baby on a 5inch screen and the pictures didn't print. Pretty bummed as my last ob was in a bigger facility and we got to do the 9 week scan on a big nice machine with very clear pics and it was a belly one not transvaginal.

At this stage everything is sooo tiny and factors such as abdominal verser trans vag and if its abdominal if your bladder wasn't full it also makes for a less clear pic!   Can still make out the lil bean here at least! Congratulations
I think they like to do abdominal over transvaginal whenever possible  , the less invasive the better,  so if they are able to get a look by abdominal and get their measurements needed and such then they wont do trans even if the pic is a bit blurry.

It looks like their machines aren’t the best. I’ve had three ultrasounds so far at three different places and each is very very different.

Mine is blurry because my scar tissue from previous c section. At least that’s what the tech told me.

Was it transvaginal? They are clearer than belly ones.
