Help - bleeding from fingering

Me and my boyfriend have regular sex and he fingers me etc aswell (always protected) and recently I’ve been bleeding during and after he does it. Its not enough to fill a pad but enough to make a bit of a mess. It’s usually a brownish red colour. I’m not itchy, sore and there’s no odour coming from my vagina. I’m really confused/worried what it could be, does anyone have any ideas?
