Lora (family name) or Laura?

Lora was my great grandmother’s name and one of the only names hubby and I agree on for a girl. Just not sure if people will think we’re trying to be “unique” and cutesy or setting our daughter up for a lifetime of correctly people’s spelling...

My name is spelled Lawren instead of Lauren after my father Lawrence. It’s annoying constantly fixing my name, but it’s special to me. My name ties me back to my family and that means a lot to me. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m glad my mom didn’t care what anybody else thought.

I would keep the spelling Lorna. It’s cute and a great way to honor your grandmother. My name is Jerney after my dad Jeremy and I love my unique spelling and I don’t mind correcting people when I need to.
