Coughing while teething?

Is it common for babies to cough from the extra drool of teething? My LO has 2 teeth coming through and has been coughing A LOT. I'm hoping it's teething and not him getting sick 😩

My LO has about 4 teeth with 2 new ones coming in, she coughs on her slob when she chewing on hands or jumping around

I had a few people tell me coughing was not a sign of teething. Even when you google it sometimes says it’s not. But I beg to differ. My son coughed before getting at least 2 of his now 6 teeth. I think it was worse with the first 2 teeth. He also usually got warm. Not fever level, but enough so you felt him and would end up checking his temp

My guy has 8 teeth and coughed before getting 4 of them.

My 3 year old and 11 month old both coughed when they were teething and choked on their drool often.  Both also a little warm when teething.  My 3 year old FINALLY finished getting his 2 year molars in a month ago now, so at least now I only have 1 teething child again! 🙌🏻

My little guy always coughs when teething! Just because of the extra drool he chokes a lot lol
