Anyone else have a crap napper?

My son won't nap for more than 30 minutes. No matter what. It's exhausting for us all. We are working on self settling at night, but so far naps have been a mess. Love him to bits, and want him to get the sleep he needs!

yes and only way for him to sleep is if i rock and nurse him so i accept the fact that he won’t sleep on his own yet so i rock and nurse him to sleep just so he can sleep and i can rest so we both won’t be grumpy all day.

Yup. After a year of reading books, blogs, etc., I’ve just come to the conclusion I have a crappy sleeper. I’m just hoping it improves before we start trying for #2 lol

Yep. We haven’t been able to nap longer than 28 mins. 
She has taken 1 hour naps about 5 times since born. 
I hate it. Especially since I’m wfh and have no time. But I pretty much had to get over it. I was turning into a miserable person so I just had to accept it lol
I tried switching to one nap but it will last the same, so ped wanted her at least twice a day. 
She’s a crappy sleeper at night too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Once we mastered wake windows, we started getting really good naps. Before then he was so overtired he wasn’t able to connect his sleep cycles so he only slept for 30 minutes.

Anyone else have a crap napper?
