Got twins on my first cycle with clomid two years ago- about to start another cycle for baby #3! 
Most clomid stories aren’t this fast but I can tell you it has had success! 🥰

I’ve done 14 medicated cycles, 6 of Clomid and 8 of Femara. No pregnancy. But all the medication is for is ovulation, so if you ovulate on the medication that’s considered successful. Getting pregnant is another story!
