Are dock a tots safe on the couch?

If I’m sitting on the couch, is it safe to put a sleeping baby in the dock a tot next to me?

They state on there website they are not safe for sleeping. That’s why I feel like it’s kind of a waste of $$

Sorry I was wrong, safe for supervised sleeping only but not to be placed in cot bassinet etc
