Hi All,

I am new to ttc, this is my first month and also first month off birth control pills.

I have been using clear blue ovulation kits and have received several days of the low fertility O, several days of flashing smileys, and then finally on day 24 of my cycle I got a solid smiley. I knew something was up as my boobs were really sore.

I also have just the ovulation strips and I got a fairly dark line. On day 25 of my cycle, I got my most solid line on the ovulation strips, with the test line being darker than the control.

On day 26 of my cycle (yesterday) I tested with an ovulation strip again and it was a bit lighter than day 25, so I would have assumed I ovulated day 25.

The problem is my bbt chart doesn’t confirm this. I have gone up slightly in temperature but not by .5 Celsius or more. Is there a chance I still ovulated?

Also, I have tried a few times taking my temperature on my basal thermometer and then immediately taking it again and have gotten some fairly dramatic differences— so this morning I got a temperature of about .3 degrees higher right after my initial recorded temperature below. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this sound reliable, can your temperature really change that much in a few minutes (or less) or is my thermometer maybe not that accurate?
