When to start using creams for stretch marks

I’m still very early but can’t help thinking it’s probably best to begin a skin care regimen now to prevent stretch marks in the future. How early were you when you began? What kind did you use and would you recommend it?

I usually start after the first trimester. I always use Bio-Oil and have zero stretch marks from 2 pregnancies and I’m a very small person. However it’s very important to know, stretch marks are also genetic. You could do everything under the sun to prevent them, but may not work. If your mom had them, you are more likely to as well.

You can start using the creams whenever you want. I really like the Mama Mio line of products because they’re natural and safe for baby, but they are expensive. But, whether you get stretch marks or not is mostly a genetic thing that’s not preventable. Just remember that regardless of whether you get them or not, your body is beautiful and it’s meant to change when you’re growing your miracle 😊

In my first pregnancy I used cream everyday after a shower from around 6 weeks I just used a cocoa butter tum thighs and bum :)
