Yes, severe anxiety and depression along with worthlessness on copper Iud and mentally I feel so much better .

It’s a side effect of the hormones for some people. I have experienced it really bad before where I feel super depressed. If it happens to you often I would check out the lower dose pills that don’t have as much hormones. I’m on those now and I mean sometimes I do still experience periods of sadness and anxiety but not as much.

So I've either learned better coping mechanisms or the pill has helped my mental health.. but everyone has different reactions to everything

Almost anytime I start a new pack I’ve had a mental health episode. Since starting birth control I’ve been in the hospital 4 times with mental health breakdowns and it never happened before that. I truly do believe it is caused by birth control however I need to stay in it for my periods
