I’ve had this friend for 12+ years. We met in college and used to work together until I moved away. As long as I have known her, I’ve noticed her most toxic trait is that she’s very judgemental. She judges and makes fun of people for almost everything, and all day every day she is usually sending me screen shots of people on Facebook, or text messenger, or something else, looking to gossip about them with me. Even if I ignore her text, she continues to do so. If she is not talking bad about other people, even people that think she is their friend, she talks about herself. She goes on and on about her feelings, her opinions, etc. In all the years I’ve known her, she’s never actually asked how I am, how my husband is, or how my kids are. I just went through a hurricane in my town and she didn’t message me anything about it, but instead sent long texts complaining about her job, coworkers, and about sessions with her therapist.
