How do I get that smoothness!?

Hi ladies, (sorry I wasn't sure which group was best to post this in),
When I shave, I use a foam and a manual razor, a bit like the ones pictured. It has 4 blades and I change regularly so I'm not using blunt ones.
So why oh why do I still get stubble instead of a nice smooth shave?! 
Do I have to accept I have thick hair and its not going to get any better, or are there other products out there I should try? 
I did see a hair removal cream for that area but would be good to have some reviews on it first!
(P.S. I'm never waxing down there 😬😂)

Use men razor! I love their razor and put coconut oil before shaving. Sooooo smooth

Harry’s razors are fantastic. It’s for men but tbh women can use it.

Use baby oil or coconut oil to shave instead of shaving cream. Also men’s razors instead of women’s!! Life changer

It's normal to have stubble if you're shaving correctly. The closest shave you get is against the hair which is not the proper way to do it. It causes infection, razor burn and more cuts

I use the Venus swirl it has 5 blades, I normally get a soft shave for like the first day then start getting stubble but it’s so worth being smooth for a while lol

I use a men’s razor, shave with the grain of the hair and then side to side gently if there’s still hair. I also use Brazilian bare shave syrup (@ Target) instead of regular shaving cream, and afterwards BikiniZone after shave gel (@ Ulta).

Hey girl. What helps me is exfoliating. I got a body scrub from Walmart and I scrub my legs up before shaving. Then I shave with a thick moisturizing body wash and soak my legs got a bit, then lotion my legs. It also helps me to shave in the bath tub so my skin is soft already from soaking when I exfoliate
