When to tell DH about BFP?

My husband is so bummed every month when we get a BFN so I'm thinking of taking him our of the loop. He takes it really hard and is super mopey for a couple days and I'm think when we do get a BFP to keep it quiet and test to confirm in a couple days. If he is so upset over a BFN I'm thinking he will be devastated over a chemical or false positive. Thoughts?

That sounds like a good idea to me. You would hate to get a false positive and make things even worse for him but you also need support. If you get a positive and it ends up being false, you might want to be open with him saying "it's negative but a few days ago I got a positive. I wanted to be extra sure so I took the test again which came back negative." That way if you get extra bummed out, you can lean on each other. Good luck!!

I'm in the same situation and decided that I won't be telling him until I get a blood test confirmation from the doctor. No since in both of us being upset about a bfn

When ur ready he's your dh if it's a positive he deserves to know ASAP as he helped make the baby and if for whatever reason it doesn't last then you can work thru it together gl
