How many women have you know that have died or had ovarian cancer?

I have known three people that have had ovarian cancer. My best friend of 38 years  Just died from ovarian cancer at the age of 42.  My sister got ovarian cancer at the age of 36 had a full hysterectomy never got treatment is still alive after 10 years

Don't know anyone. I get my regular checks, last one last month everything is normal.

I think it depends on what stage it is and if it’s metastasized. If caught early enough, it’s removable by hysterectomy. If not, it may spread to other areas and cause further damage. It really depends. I don’t know anyone specifically with ovarian cancer, but multiple women in my family have had breast cancer and died. Even after a mastectomy, the cancer spread to other areas of the body and ultimately ended in them passing away.
