Does your husband help out?

Wondering if any of your husbands ever get up in the morning to get LO while you sleep in?
My husband has done it maybe a few times (2-3 times) and our son is 18 months old. On nights I have an awful sleep (not because of LO, just tossing and turning) it would be so nice if my husband offered to let me sleep in and get up with our son. I even complain and say how tired I am and he doesn't really care, I mentioned it would be so helpful if he got up sometimes and gave me a break. He got upset, called me a piece of shit and thanked me for calling him out and being a bad dad. He yelled, slammed the door and went to bed.

Ours just turned a year and she’s been sleeping through the night since 4 months. She will rarely wake up and cry but my boyfriend will get her, it’s just whoever kind of wakes up first

It’s all a give and take. I’m a SAHM and my husband works. I don’t even have to ask he usually lets me sleep in on the weekends unless he has something he has to do. We have 2 under 2 and it’s stressful for me sometimes and he knows it’s a lot of work.

Yes he helps on the weekend without me even asking. They are his kids too and he enjoys doing it. He works during the week so he can’t then. That’s terrible he talks to you that way.

My fiancé wakes up at 4:30am on weekdays for work so I don’t expect him or ask him to help out very much during the week since he needs his sleep. He actually hasn’t changed one diaper since she’s been born July 1 ￼😂 (but I honestly don’t care about that I’m an ece so doing the diapers don’t bother me) but I’m lucky if he feeds her a bottle on the weekends. He doesn’t wake up to do a midnight feeding either. He actually helped giving her a bath for the first time the other night and he loved it. 😆 I know when she’s a couple months older he’ll help out more. Hes just one of those dads that just can’t do newborn 😕🙄

My husband often works 50+ hours, and there are still weekends where he’ll let me sleep in and he gets up with our son. He’s still a parent so he also sacrifices for him.
