How did you commemorate your miscarriage?

I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. I have one ultrasound picture of the baby when it was alive. It was only six weeks so it doesn’t look like much, but I can’t bring myself to toss it. I also have a handful of positive tests.. my husband suggested putting those items in a box and burying it. I don’t know how I feel about that. Maybe create a small box to keep those items together so I can go back and look at them when I feel like it? Is that weird?

Don't throw it out! It's such a precious thing. My aunt made a little memory box after her miscarriage. Maybe you could do something like that. And don't bury it. You can put the ultrasound in there and maybe a couple of baby booties, your positive pregnancy test. You could include a little note, to your baby if you want to write one, and place it in there as well. I am so sorry for your loss. 💔

i still have my two ultrasound pictures, and buried baby in a lilac rose bush and it’s actually 1 of 2 roses i bought that day, and the one i put baby in is THRIVING and growing so much taller than the other one.

I have those items in a drawer still for now two years later. My hubby got me a necklace that Christmas with a small angel wing and what would’ve been baby’s birthstone on it. I like it because I can see or wear it anytime.

I got a floral tattoo of forget-me-nots. No one has asked, but it has meaning to me.

I have a small box with my positive pregnancy test, cards people sent me, the onesie I bought to announce to my husband... don’t bury it.
