Clomid and bleeding?

I am on my second day of clomid and I am bleeding like I am about to get my period. My dr gave me pills for five days that was supposed to make me start it but it didn't work so he said to just start the clomid. Is it normal to bleed while or right after you take clomid?

That seems weird that your doctor would have you start clomid without your period. It's generally taken on very specific days of your cycle. I had no bleeding when I took my first round this month. Are you sure it's not your period coming?

I was told it could take up to a week after Provera for a period to start, mine started 3 days after and I took my Clomid on the 3rd day. Every doctor has their reasons. Also read some women take up to a week to ovulate after Clomid, which is what I'm waiting for. Fingers crossed and baby dust!
