Birth controls that stop your period...?

Question

Ladies! I’m looking to switch birth controls ( currently on the mini pill and still breastfeeding) 
I want one that will shorten or completely stop my periods. Ever since I got it back ( 2 months ago) the mood swings have been awful and I can’t cope. 
Any ideas ? 
Trying to stay away from ones that will make me put on weight.

Honestly the IUD , you will forget it and its awsome was on it for 5 years and didnt gain weight or get periods.

I had the mirena IUD in college and loved it, no hassle taking a pill and no periods or side effects

I took cyclen which you can take continuous and not get a period.
There is also a pill called seasonale which you take you 3 months straight and only get 4 periods a year.
Your doctor will be able to help with other options
