Stretch marks

So I just noticed three brand new bright red stretch marks under my right nipple area. They must’ve just appeared recently. I was exclusively pumping and just started breastfeeding again. My baby does pull on my boob a lot. I’m wondering if this is the beginning of more stretch marks? Is there anything I can do to reduce the likelihood of more appearing, or are they inevitable?
