Pictures of Mom

Does anyone else get irritated that no one takes their photo??

I’m always the photographer. I have hundreds of pictures of my husband and little girl... and literally 7 or 8 pictures of me and her. Some kinda suck... but it’s what I have. I had to ask for them too, so it’s what I got.

Finally had a PMS moment and was like F this! I’m done. I do all this work - work 40-50 hours a week, then cleaning, laundry, cooking and baking from scratch (babes got serious food allergies so ALL food is homemade), making sure she meets her milestones and has fun yet educational activities to play with...

Yet I’ve got nothing except for keeping the child alive and healthy to show for it. No proof of Mom... it’s like our digital files show that I don’t exist.

So I told my husband, we’re doing family photos 2 times a year from now on. No excuses. I don’t want to hear “well we should really save for X”. I work OT and we make decent enough money and live frugally, therefore we’re doing this. No excuses. He admitted that he hasn’t been doing a good enough job and will work on it, but it’s the 3rd time he’s said it and no changes. Time to pay up!
