IUGR babies-help

Has anyone here had an IUGR baby?

If so, how quickly did your baby grow? When did they get to wear newborn sizes? Or size up?

My son was born at 4 pounds 12 oz at 38 weeks. He’s still in preemie clothes. l’m having a hard time finding proper swaddles that will fit him tightly. We use blankets but he’s starting to fight them and makes struggling noises all night long.

I’m also starting to get sad because we have all these seasonal clothes people keep buying us and he won’t wear them simply because he might not fit into that cute fall outfit until spring or summer. Same with swaddles. What if he starts rolling over before he fits into his “sleeve” swaddles then they just sit there unused 😭

I don’t know why I care so much about it but I do.

Also: does anyone else use comotomo bottles and if so, how are you heating them up? I bought a bottle warmer and find it only works right with that bottle half the time.
