Random tooth sensitivity?

Question

Is it normal to wake up and have a very sensitive tooth for a day or so? I haven't been able to watch or drink anything cold today. I haven't tried anything too hot just to be safe.

I get that from clenching in the night.

I had that was my last pregnancy and it ended up being from ligaments under my tooth- no cavity. Pregnancy does weird stuff to teeth so it could be anything really.

I would just keep an eye on it, might have a cavity.
