I asked my midwife today if my husband and I should skip sex for now (we’re wanting to have my mom in town next week to watch our toddler). She said if we don’t want to have the baby now then wait. Orgasms can cause contractions and semen can help with the cervix. I had my first at 37+0, we had sex two nights before and tried the night before, but I was too uncomfortable. So 🤷🏼‍♀️ seems possible

So with my second daughter I was getting irregular contractions that just stopped. Thought hmmmm need to orgasm... which I did and boom went into labor 8 hours later she was born 😬

Well they say sex helps because the semen helps soften the cervix. Last time I orgasmed during sex I had a painful contraction at the same time. Weirdest feeling ever! OMG. Soo ig it could help start contractions.
