TTC- Pregnancy question

Just wanted to ask some things first let me start by say yes I have my own apartment I’m working I take care of my bills and part of my rent my boyfriend of 5 years stays with me so we split the rent down the middle he has a job been with his company for 12 years we was pregnant before but had a miscarriage at the beginning of this year but I’m trying to convince again he agreed to trying to convince this month but backed out and want to say all this stuff he need to see if I can take care of myself and not ask no one for anything( I don’t ask no one for anything if I don’t got I don’t got it I make a way).

But I don’t know what world he living in but he just thinks everybody is financially stable before they have a baby or he thinks everybody saves up before having a baby he think when the baby comes everything is gonna be on him.

Is everybody financially stable b4 they bring a kid in this world?

Do ppl save money b4 or during the pregnancy?
