I'm thinking about going on birth control pills for a couple months to help regulate my periods. (Haven't been diagnosed, but my doctor said I might have pcos) I've been trying for 7 months and haven't ovulated even once, and want to see if this (cheaper than fertility meds, my insurance doesn't cover those) option will maybe work?

Thinking that possibly after I stopped taking the pills it might make it easier to conceive? I've heard lots of stories about women getting pregnant after getting off the pill. (This might just be ignorance, but its what I've seen here, and read on multiple other websites).

Does this sound stupid?
