I'm at a loss as to how to get my husband in the mood? I feel like I have to initiate everything sexual with us.

Ask him what turns him on! Or what would get him in the mood. Everyone's love language is completely different. 
Does he like physical touch like hugging/kissing
Or maybe when you do things for him like give him a massage that turns sensual.
Maybe he likes when you do things around the house or maybe he just wants a gift every once in a while. Or it could be as simple as complimenting him and making him feel good about himself. It is important to know what they are thinking/feeling!
