32w, currently in L&D because of spotting around 12. In triage they found me 2-3cm dilated and I was having contractions. They admitted me and gave me a painful steroid shot for baby’s lung growth; gave me meds to help stop/slow contractions; monitoring baby’s movements and contractions.

Contractions haven’t stopped just slowed slightly and my hips/back started to hurt and burn so bad that I can’t always tell that pain over contractions. Got Tylenol and Flexeril but they didn’t help. At 10 I dilated to a 4. They have me ambien and morphine. The morphine didn’t touch the pain. I couldn’t stop shaking my legs because when I laid still it’s excruciating.

Just got a second dose of morphine and am trying to lean more towards my left. Pain is finally letting up a little. I’m hoping this lasts.
